New industries, new hot demand
To promote the research and application of liquid cooling technology and the coordinated development of "government, industry, academia, research, and application", Ferrotec (China), a representative of TE Thermal Power Division, participated in the "First Global Liquid Cooling Technology Research and Application Conference" held by the Green Refrigerant Research and Application Branch of China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association in Hangzhou on April 26-27, 2024.

Faced with the new demands of new industries, traditional air cooling technology is limited by the bottleneck of energy consumption and capacity constraints, and is powerless. Liquid cooling technology, as an efficient, low consumption, safe and stable thermal management technology, is an important path to break through the new "hot" demands of "new industries". Ferrotec (China) Thermal Power Division is committed to the research and development of new refrigeration technology application products, and will implement the concept of "forging ahead, having great aspirations, striving tirelessly, and achieving success in one's career", aiming to add a touch of brilliance to the refrigeration industry in China and even globally.

This academic exchange has attracted industry leaders in various fields such as high-performance computing, power batteries, and energy storage, as well as professors and scholars from dozens of universities including Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Xi'an Jiaotong University. Together, they discussed key technical issues related to the research and application of liquid cooling technology, solidly promoting the high-quality development of liquid cooling technology, and assisting in the rapid development of "new industries" and the achievement of "dual carbon" goals.

Pat Gelsinger, President of Intel Corporation in the United States, once predicted that "the bottleneck for the development of the global communication industry and even the entire electronic information industry in the future is not large-scale integration technology, but heat dissipation technology. It will not only affect electronic information technology, but will also affect the entire world economy. We will also be fully prepared for this and embrace new challenges. The reason why fountains are beautiful is because they have pressure; The reason why waterfalls are spectacular is because they have no way out; The reason why dripping water can penetrate stones is because its value lies in persistence. A bird standing on a branch is never afraid of the branch breaking, because it believes not in the branch, but in its own wings. We believe that with the support of the company's leaders and colleagues, the Thermal Power Division will gather new strength and shine with its own brilliance.
